The most common indicators that a system has reached the end of its useful life are an inability to audit access events, difficulty removing credentials for former employees, software that is no longer supported by the manufacturer, and a system that cannot integrate with CCTV or fire alarms. How it works

How a System Migration Works

SPS Technical plans every access control migration carefully to avoid gaps in security coverage. Where possible, the new system is installed alongside the existing one before cutover, minimising disruption. Existing credentials are migrated to new fobs, cards or mobile credentials with minimal disruption to users.

Upgrade questions

Yes. We audit it, give you a written report and maintain it, whoever installed it. If it's old or unsupported, we can move it onto Paxton Net2 or Paxton10.

Net2 is managed from software on a PC or server and suits most single and multi-site businesses. Paxton10 is managed from a web browser and can include video in the same system. Both are licence-free. We help you choose at survey.

Paxton products carry Paxton's five-year warranty against electronic failure, and proximity fobs carry a lifetime warranty.
