Warning signs ## Signs Your Access Control System Needs Upgrading The most common indicators that a system has reached the end of its useful life are an inability to audit access events, difficulty removing credentials for former employees, software that is no longer supported by the manufacturer, and a system that cannot integrate with CCTV or fire alarms.
