Door access events can trigger camera recording. Intruder alarm arming can be automated on last-user exit. Fire alarm activation must release electric locks for safe evacuation. SPS Technical installs and maintains all four system types across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber — so integration is designed correctly from the outset, not retrofitted by a third party who doesn't understand the full picture. Integration options ## Access Control Integration Options The four most common integrations SPS Technical designs and installs are CCTV event linking, intruder alarm automation, fire alarm door release and ARC monitoring connection. Each can be implemented independently or as part of a fully integrated security system. ### CCTV event linking Door access events trigger camera recording. Entry and exit footage matched to access log entries. Specific cameras assigned to specific doors within Paxton Net2 or Paxton 10. Footage available for every access event without manual review. ### Intruder alarm integration Last-user-out automatically sets the intruder alarm via access control. First-user-in unsets it. Eliminates the need for separate alarm panels in low-occupancy premises and reduces the risk of an alarm being left unset. ### Fire alarm interface Automatic door release on fire alarm activation ensures safe evacuation and legal compliance. SPS Technical installs both systems and tests the interface at every maintenance visit — not relying on a third party to make the connection work. ### ARC monitoring connection Access control events can be routed through an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) for out-of-hours monitoring. Forced entry detection and door-held-open alerts escalated for response and actioned immediately. One provider. One agreement. ## One Provider Across All System Types For clients managing fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control across one site or multiple sites, a single maintenance provider means consistent engineering standards, unified compliance documentation, cross-system testing at every maintenance visit and a single point of contact for all faults.
